Whitney Mills graduated from Bond University Doctor of Physiotherapy Program in early 2017. She grew up an avid sportswoman in a small town in Alberta, Canada.  Whitney actively involved herself in basketball, volleyball, athletics, cross-country running, softball, ballet, and badminton. She has competed in basketball at a provincial level, and volleyball and athletics at a national level. Whitney completed a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Alberta along with a Canadian Society of Exercise Physiology Certified Personal Trainer certificate in 2013. Born in the Philippines and raised in New Zealand, Arsenio Redoblado joins our team as a part time physiotherapist. Arsenio, aka “Butch”, grew up in Christchurch, NZ.   Completing secondary schooling, a move to Dunedin to study physiotherapy at the University of Otago occurred. At high school, Arsenio excelled academically and gained leadership roles including school prefect for his two final years. He completed his Bachelor of Physiotherapy in 2012 and relocated to Brisbane early in 2016. Bobbie-Jo Strong is the principal physiotherapist of Pivotal Motion Physiotherapy in Newmarket Brisbane. Born in the New South Wales country town of Moree, Bobbie-Jo developed her passion for all things country early on. Her family later relocated to between Toowoomba and Warwick, where they lived on hobby farm, caring for a variety of animals, and tending to the vegetable garden. Ben has been an integral part of our team for over 5 years. He started working reception during his studies and then got involved in our exercise classes and sports events. He became a staff physiotherapist after his graduation in 2016. He has always wanted to go abroad to work and travel, so we knew we had to say goodbye to him this year. Ethan is a fourth year physiotherapy student at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane and our resident cowboy. He grew up in Gayndah, a small country town in Queensland, and loved all things sports, cowboys and westerns. After finishing high school, Ethan studied at the University of the Sunshine Coast where he completed a Bachelor of Sport and Exercise Science with a minor in performance enhancement. Marthe is a psychologist from the Netherlands. She grew up in a small town in the South of the Netherlands. Breanna is a fourth year Physiotherapy student at the Australian Catholic University in Brisbane. She went to school at Clayfield College from prep-yr12 and was always involved in sports from a young age. Isaac is currently completing the fourth year of his undergraduate degree at the University of Queensland. Hailing from Toowoomba, Isaac was an avid sportsman playing large manner of sports whilst at high school. Rugby union became Isaac’s primary focus towards the end of high school playing for the First XV team during his final two years. Rugby union was responsible for Isaac’s first physiotherapy experience which planted the seed for his future aspirations. Luke is in the middle of his second year of a Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science degree at the University of Queensland. Isaac’s younger brother, Luke is also Toowoomba born and bred and has spent his years trialing and training for a variety of sports. Brendan is a 21 year old student who has recently completed his Bachelor of Exercise and Sports Science (Honours) at the University of Queensland.  Using his degree, he applies his knowledge of strength and conditioning in the clinic running Adolescent Strength Training classes on Monday afternoons, as well as doing general physio aide and reception work.
